Happy Wednesday, friends!!  I am SUPER proud of myself for blogging my LAST WEDDING of the year before we leave for Christmas!!  Definitely was a goal of mine!

Nicole and Mike’s wedding was SUCH a magical way to end my 2019 season!!  You may remember their winter wonderland shoot in the forest with all the snow and the tree farm from last year.  I have loved Nicole’s attention to detail from the beginning and I knew Nicole and Mike’s wedding would be so creative and sweet.

Nicole and Mike were married at Wolf Oak Acres, and their day had gorgeous sun and wasn’t too cold!  But Nicole was prepared with pretty plaid scarves for her bridesmaids who were adorned in beautiful dark green dresses.  When I arrived at Wolf Oak Acres, Nicole was finishing with her hair and all her bridal details were just STUNNING!  I found this gorgeous burgundy sofa to capture them on and the colors were perfection!

After Nicole and the girls took photos in their robes and her bridesmaids got dressed, Nicole’s sister helped her get dressed and it was just the sweetest!  And Nicole looked so stunning!  Then, Nicole opened her gift from Mike, and of course it was Disney-related!  (They were engaged at Disney and honeymooned there!  Nicole also plans Disney vacations, if you need to consult anyone choose her!)

Mike was ready to meet his bride outside the main wooden barn by the side railing.  She came up behind him with the most excited look on her face.  I just loved their first look!  Then, we captured the most beautiful light on them for their portraits!  And then took them to the front of the wooden barn with more light and some epic veil shots!  We then invited their whole bridal party out to capture them, and they were such a fun group!  I especially loved her little flower girl who kept walking around with her Ariel doll – she totally fit in with our Disney loving crew!

Then, as guests arrived everyone relaxed to prepare for the ceremony, which was in the main room upstairs at Wolf Oak Acres. Such a warm room with the wood detail and fireplace!  Nicole and Mike had such a sweet, short and meaningful ceremony, and then, they were MARRIED!!  Then, Nicole and Mike went outside to take pictures with their immediate and extended families. As family photos were ending, the sunset started turning into the most BEAUTIFUL pink, and we knew we had to take Nicole and Mike out for sunset portraits!  We didn’t have a TON of time before the reception, but it was so worth it to get these shots!

Nicole and Mike signed their marriage license as their guests gathered downstairs in the reception room.  Then, they entered by coming down the stairs after their bridal party!  They had the sweetest first dance surrounded by their parents and bridal party with all their guests watching!  Then, they had toasts by their siblings and parents.  And then the party got started with parent dances, their dessert table, and tons of dancing!!  Before the end of the night, light sabers came out and the DJ took out this special smoke gun for a few epic shots of the dance floor!  And we took Nicole and Mike out for night shots, which was so much fun too!  They wanted to light wish lanterns and release them into the night sky (also inspired by Disney – perfect for them!). And of course we did a few extra shots just for fun!  A super romantic end to their day!

I hope Nicole and Mike’s wedding story inspires your pre-Christmas week!!  I wish these two every continued JOY and happiness in their life together!
